Overview
Registered Nurse – Infection Prevention Specialist in Franklin, NH. This travel assignment starts on 10/01/2026 and runs for 14 weeks in a skilled nursing setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,324 to $2,459, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift is a dayshift schedule, 5x8, typically 08:00–16:30. Must be certified as an Infection Preventionist (IP) to qualify for this role.

Responsibilities
- Lead the facility’s infection prevention program, including surveillance, data collection, trend analysis, and reporting of infections.
- Develop, implement, and update infection prevention policies and procedures aligned with current guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Educate and mentor staff on infection prevention practices, including hand hygiene, use of PPE, cleaning and disinfection, and isolation precautions.
- Coordinate outbreak response in collaboration with the care team and communicate with leadership and applicable regulatory bodies as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, perform performance audits, and monitor adherence to infection control measures to reduce infection risk.

Requirements
- Infection Preventionist (IP) certification required.
- Prior infection prevention experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing facility environment.
- Willingness to commit to a 14-week travel assignment starting 10/01/2026.
